BULOVA

The Bulova Watch Company is a renowned American watchmaker with a rich history that spans over a century. The company was founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, a 23-year-old Czech immigrant, in New York City. Initially, Bulova focused on manufacturing and selling jewelry, including pocket watches. In the 1970s, the Bulova Watch Company faced financial challenges and went through a series of ownership changes until 2008 when Citizen Watch Co. Ltd. of Japan purchased the Bulova Watch Company and formed the Citizen Watch America subsidiary.

Today, Bulova continues to create a wide range of watches known for their precision, craftsmanship, and design. Restored and back to life. This is a vintage Bulova Art Deco ladies wristwatch dated from 1926.

It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Bulova 15 jewel movement, caliber 6AF (based in FHF 5), adjusted, 34 hours power reserve, 18,000 A/h.

Still preserved in time the original silver decorated dial with bold Arabic Numerals and "railroad" minute track. Original blue steel matching hands. The dial is beautifully decorated and it is signed with the Bulova name/logo on top.
 
Cased in a gorgeous 17x27mm Art Deco rectangle case, all in 14K white gold filled. The case, bezel, sides and back are also beautifully engraved. It comes on a period correct flex band, all in 12K whit gold filled and signed "Whatchband".

This wristwatch in lovely condition. Runs very well and keeps great time!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
