Omega Seamaster, the longest product line still produced by Omega. It is also, the first waterproof watch Omega and the oldest current Omega's collection, "The Omega Seamaster is a line of manual winding, automatic, chronometer and quartz watches that Omega has produces since 1948."
Originally, it was produced in 1932 based upon designs made for the British Royal Navy to be used in submarines during the war. The Omega Seamaster turned out to also be useful for watches and in 1948 it debuted in celebration of Omega's 100th anniversary.

Today, we are presenting a fantastic timepiece, it is a pre-owned Omega Seamaster Cosmic automatic wristwatch, reference 166.023 and dated from the late 1960s.
This is a self-wind watch powered by an original OMEGA Watch Co. movement caliber 565, sweep second, date indicator, 19,800 A/h, 50 hours power reserve, Swiss made.
In good condition, still has the original sunburst champagne dial with gold/black baton hour markers, black minute/second track, and gold matching hands. The gold-frame date‑window is located at 3 o’clock. The dial is also signed with the Omega name/logo, Automatic and Seamaster Cosmic.
Super elegant, this dress watch is cased in a 33.1mm tonneau/barrel case featuring the traditional Seamaster logo: the hippocampus (or seahorse) – to signify the watch’s water-resistant capabilities. Also, it has a signed Omega crown.
It comes with a new old stock gray Genuine Lizard made in Italy two-piece strap.
The watch is in VERY GOOD condition, it is a very good looking watch. Runs very well and keeps great time!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
